At Casa de la Luz, we offer fully private Ayahuasca retreats near San José, Costa Rica. Every retreat is just for you (or you and your companion), ensuring a peaceful, personalized experience.

We prepare our own Ayahuasca using locally sourced ingredients and clear intention. We also offer high-quality brews from the Amazon Jungle (Pucallpa, Perú).

• Completely personalized
We focus on private sessions only, not large groups. This allows us to give you our full attention and support throughout your retreat.

• Ideal location
We are located in Turrúcares, Alajuela, close to San José (SJO) Airport and surrounded by nature. You’ll have plenty of quiet time for personal reflection.
Arrive easily by Uber, rental car, or optional pickup service. Parking is available.

Who This Is For

Our private format is especially supportive for people who are neurodivergent, introverted, sensitive, or simply prefer solitude and a calm environment, especially for a first Ayahuasca experience.

All our retreats are fully private — you are the only participant.

Arrival time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

If you arrive after 4:00 PM, your retreat session might be canceled.
Late arrivals affect subsequent retreats and staff resting times.

Checkout: 10:00 AM

Snacks, water, and tea are always available.

We utilize healthy and farm-to-table food, natural ingredients, and a vegetarian-based diet.
Our menu is open to other diets if you let us know in advance.


Important considerations for any selected retreat:

• Limited availability: We work with a small number of people each month. Book with time.

Refund & Rescheduling Policy

Retreat bookings are non-refundable and final.

Rescheduling is possible with at least 15 days’ notice before your arrival date.

Our business operates legally and in full compliance with regulations.

Our prices include (13% IVA), and we can provide either electronic or stamped invoices as needed.

Session for Two People (Double Occupancy) –
$800 USD (IVA included)

Two participants — Queen bed, Twin bed, fan, private bathroom.
Total for two participants: $800 USD

Session for One Person (Solo Occupancy) –
$600 USD (IVA included)

One participant — Queen bed, fan, private bathroom.
Total for one participant: $600 USD

Our team is here to assist you with payments. You can pay securely with credit or debit cards directly on our payment links. We also accept Wise and International Wire transfers through banks like Bank of America, Chase, and others. In Europe, you can use Revolut.

For private retreats, a 100% deposit is required in advance to secure your booking.
