As the interest in plant medicine ceremonies continues to grow across Costa Rica, so does the responsibility to offer authentic, well-prepared, and energetically consistent Ayahuasca.

In response to the increasing demand from retreat centers and facilitators, I am offering Ayahuasca in bulk, in several traditional varieties, exclusively for professional retreats and ceremonial spaces.

My work is dedicated to supporting Costa Rican retreats in offering the highest quality medicine available, so participants can experience the depth, grounding, and healing potential that Ayahuasca is meant to provide.

About the Medicine & My Path

My name is Andrés Campos, and for the past five years, I have been working exclusively with vine and chacruna brews, continuously refining and perfecting the preparation to meet the needs of deep ceremonial work. I founded Casa de la Luz 8 years ago, after going through an apprenticeship with my shaman, and have been drinking the medicine since 2012. It’s a dream to help others also find the excellent medicine for their needs. For me, beyond places, shamans, and facilitators, the medicine is the most important thing in the ceremony.

This is not a generalized or mass-produced medicine, and we have a limit on the number of doses available for sale, ranging from 20 to 100 doses. Each preparation is the result of years of experience, listening to the plants, and refining the process to ensure consistency, clarity, and strength, always guided by intention and respect for the tradition.

Supporting Quality, Consistency & Integrity

Over the years, I have repeatedly heard from facilitators and participants about ceremonies where the medicine feels weak, inconsistent, or does not fully activate. This is often not an issue of the participant, but of preparation, handling, or application. When they come to Casa de la Luz, there is a very high rate of people who feel it in the first dose, with only a few who didn’t due to unexpected circumstances such as recent trauma or being very tired upon arrival.

For this reason, my offering goes beyond supply alone.

Alongside premium medicine, I provide guidance based on traditional best practices, supporting retreats in areas such as:

Costa Rican Ayahuasca – Local Medicine

The Costa Rican Ayahuasca I prepare is known for its earthy, grounding, and emotionally deep nature. Many people remark on its pleasant, spiced flavor, often compared to cacao or coffee, rather than the harsh taste commonly associated with other brews. Feel free to drop by and get a taste.

This medicine is often described as:

It is prepared with a clear healing intention and respect for the plants. Retreats are welcome to participate in the cooking process, fostering a deeper relationship with the medicine and its lineage.

Traditional Peruvian Varieties & Allied Plant Medicines - directly from pucallpa, peru.

In addition to my local work, I maintain direct relationships with retreat centers and traditional networks in Pucallpa, Perú. Through these connections, I can offer access, by request and in bulk quantities, to respected Peruvian Ayahuasca varieties, including:

Sky Yellow Ayahuasca
Red Jaguar Ayahuasca
Black Thunder Ayahuasca
All these medicines cost $900USD/Kilo, which lasts for up to 70 doses. This medicine has a ratio of 1/1, and different vines are used from the selection mentioned.

It is said that Sky Ayahuasca is the light and visionary one, Jaguar is emotional and deep, also more purging, and Thunder Ayahuasca is more for people with strong attachments, such as addictions or similar.

I can also support retreats in sourcing other traditional Amazonian and Andean healing plants, such as:

My role is to support retreat facilitators in holding strong, safe, and meaningful ceremonial spaces, and to contribute to a culture where healing comes before commercialization. For this reason, I work exclusively with retreats and facilitators who share a commitment to integrity, responsibility, and respect for plant medicine traditions, always in alignment with lawful and conscientious practice.
