At Casa de la Luz, we offer fully private Ayahuasca retreats near San José, Costa Rica. Each experience is designed exclusively for you—whether attending alone or with one companion—ensuring a serene, personalized, and deeply supported journey.

Located in Turrúcares, Alajuela, we are close to the San José (SJO) Airport and immersed in peaceful natural surroundings. You’ll have ample time for rest, integration, and personal reflection.
Transportation is simple—arrive via Uber, rental car, or optional pickup service. Parking is available on-site.

Arrival & Checkout

Arrival time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM

Please arrive within the designated window. Arrivals after 4:00 PM may result in cancellation of your session, as late entries impact subsequent retreats and staff resting hours.

Meals & Beverages

Snacks, purified water, and tea are available at all times.
We offer healthy, farm-to-table meals based on natural, vegetarian ingredients. Other dietary needs can be accommodated with prior notice.

Who This Retreat Is For

Our fully private 7-day retreat format is especially supportive for individuals and seniors between 50 and 75 years old who value tranquility, personal attention, and a gentle-paced environment. It offers a deeply restorative space to reconnect with yourself, release accumulated stress, and support long-term well-being through mindful self-care and inner cleansing.

All our retreats are fully private; you are the only participant (or pair).

• Limited availability
We work with a very small number of guests each month. We recommend booking in advance.

Refund & Rescheduling Policy

Retreat bookings are non-refundable and final.
Rescheduling is possible with at least 15 days’ notice before your arrival date.

We operate legally and in full accordance with Costa Rican regulations.
All prices include 13% IVA, and we can provide either electronic or stamped invoices upon request.

Payment Policy for Our Retreats:

Our 7-day retreats require 100% payment at the time of booking. Due to the limited space and the nature of our operations, all resources—including staff, dates, medicine, and third-party services—are reserved exclusively for you once payment is made. While we are open to rescheduling in exceptional circumstances, please note that all bookings are non-refundable.

You can make payments with a credit or debit card via the pay link provided by us, or by international bank transfer to Costa Rica.

Once confirmed, bookings can only be held for 24 hours.

Please note that all services provided beyond your dietary needs and Ayahuasca sessions are offered by third-party companies. While Casa de la Luz facilitates these arrangements for your comfort, the respective service providers are responsible for delivering these services.
